Terms of use
Summary: MoneroP2P is experimental, non-custodial software. You use it at your own risk and you are responsible for your keys, your recovery file and complying with your country’s laws. This text is a template and must be reviewed by a lawyer before handling real money.
The service
MoneroP2P provides a web interface and open-source software to perform atomic swaps between USDT and Monero with independent counterparties (makers). We are not a party to the trade, we do not hold funds and we cannot reverse transactions.
Testing status
The service only runs on test networks (testnet). Test tokens have no value. Do not use real funds.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your recovery file and its password safe.
- Check the addresses you enter.
- Act within the contract deadlines (or keep the app open so it can).
- Comply with your country’s laws, including tax and currency-control rules.
- Not use the service for unlawful activities.
Fees
The contract charges a percentage fee on each completed swap, capped at 1% in the code. Networks charge their own fees too (gas on the USDT network and the Monero network fee).
No warranties
The software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. It may contain bugs. Prices are set by makers and can change.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the software, user error, missed deadlines, fund freezes by the USDT issuer, network or node failures, or acts of makers or other third parties.
Regional restrictions
We may block access from certain countries for legal reasons.
Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date shows the version in force.
